PDF to Quiz AI ("we", "our", or "the app") is an iOS application that lets you upload PDF documents and generate quizzes using AI. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Content you upload. When you import a PDF or paste text, that content is transmitted to our server to generate quiz questions. We do not store your documents or generated content beyond the time required to process your request.
Usage data. We may collect basic, anonymous usage information — such as feature usage frequency and crash reports — to help us improve the app. This data is not linked to your identity.
Subscription information. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment details, billing address, or Apple ID. We only receive a confirmation from Apple that a valid subscription exists.
We do not use your content for training AI models. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for advertising.
Generated study sets and quiz results are saved locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it. You can delete all local data by uninstalling the app.
The app uses an AI model via our own backend to generate quiz content. Your uploaded text is sent to this backend over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. We do not share this content with any other third party.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Apple's privacy practices are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
PDF to Quiz AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We do not retain uploaded documents or generated content on our servers after your request is fulfilled. Anonymous usage analytics may be retained in aggregated form for up to 12 months.
Because we collect minimal personal data, there is little to act on. If you have questions or concerns about your data, you can contact us and we will respond promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
